Learn by Doing
From your first days with Emerald Surveys, you’ll work alongside experienced surveyors and gain practical experience across a wide range of projects.
Depending on your role and development, you could gain experience in:

- Measured Building Surveys
- 3D Laser Scanning
- Utility Surveys & GPR
- Monitoring Surveys

- CAD & Survey Drawings
- 3D Modelling & Digital Twins
You’ll learn how modern surveys are carried out from start to finish — from setting up equipment and collecting data on site through to processing, drawing and delivering the final survey.
Work With Modern Survey Technology
Surveying is changing quickly, and we want our trainees to learn using the technology shaping the future of the industry.
You'll have the opportunity to work with professional surveying equipment including robotic total stations, GNSS equipment, 3D laser scanners, GPR and other specialist survey technology.
You'll also develop experience with industry software used to process point clouds, survey data, CAD drawings and 3D models.
